3RD SGAF SKILLS ACQUISITION PROGRAMME
As one of the Foundations activities, The Solomon Giwa-Amu Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Army Public Relations, Global Educators for All Initiative & ITEX limited organized The 3rd SGAF Skill Acquisition Programme(SSAP)for barrack youth from August 8th to September 5th, 2011. The Programme is aimed at bringing out the potentials in the youth by engaging them in more productive skillful activities during their vacation, thereby becoming independent and successful entrepreneurs.

SGAF 2ND ANNIVERSARY PROGRAMME
As activities lined up for the 2nd Anniversary programme which is scheduled to begin from October 28 to November 6, 2010, the Foundation will be donating over one thousand text books worth over One Million Naira to primary schools in Sabongidda Ora in Edo state and Abuja FCT.

SGAF COLLABORATES WITH DIRECTORATE OF ARMY PR
As one of the Foundation's activities, The Solomon Giwa Amu Foundation in collaboration with the Directorate of Army Public Relations is organizing a 4 weeks Summer Skills Acquisition Programme themed; "Building the bridge from Dependence to Self Sustenance for Youths in Mogadishu barracks" this is for JSSCE (Middle school)and SSCE (High School)Graduates residing in the barracks. This programme is a series of activities developed to bridge the connection between knowledge acquired by students in their institution and the reality of the labour market.
